Government Polytechnic Soron was established in the year 1983.situated on Bareilly-Kasganj road .The institute is well connected by road and railways.
The institute has its own buildings including Administrative block, Lab block, Workshop, Mechanical Engg. Block, Hostel building for the students is available in the institute campus. The Laboratories and Workshops are full filled with sufficient equipment, furniture etc. for perfect teaching and other activities.
The institute is running the following three years diploma engineering courses for boys and girls, in (1) Civil Engineering, (2) Mechanical Engineering and (3) Architectural Assistantship.
The institute is affiliated from the Board of Technical Education, U.P., Lucknow and all running courses are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Objective
The main objective of the polytechnic is to trained the students according to the syllabi of Board of Technical Education U.P. Lucknow and after successful training the passed students placement in different organizations. Training & Placement cell help the students for placement.
